The Radobýl peak (399 m a.s.l.) of the Bohemian Central Highlands near Litoměřice in the village of Žalhostice belongs to the hills that you won't mistake for others. Thanks to the quarry at its foot, it has a half-eaten silhouette that is typical for it. Climb Radobýl and look around at the unforgettable landscape.

Boreč Hill is a 449 m high significant hill, a perfect pile of a dissected body, formed by trachyte with steeper and higher northern and northeastern slopes, on which we find extensive scree with colorful flora. In the peak area, in winter, there are visible outbursts of warm, humid air - ventaroles, in which the same temperature is maintained throughout the year, which is why it is also called "Smoke Mountain". The rest of the hill is covered with a natural deciduous forest with oak, beech, hornbeam, ash and linden. Boreč Hill was declared a national nature reserve in 1951. Since 1981, we can get to know the surroundings of Borč thanks to the nature trail that leads from Režný Újezd, over the top of the hill and back to the village. The views from the mountain peaks, not only to the southeastern edge of the Bohemian Central Mountains, are very interesting. This part of the destination of the Czech Central Mountains and Podřipsko is crossed by the yellow and green TZ, cycle route no. 25 and the Tyršova nature trail, and several natural monuments are included here. The village of the same name, Boreč, located at an altitude of 325 m, dates back to 1227. The village of Boreč was first mentioned in Otakar's charter and was owned by the Prague monastery of St. George. Boreč is a small village seat in a basin between Borečský vrch, Sutomský vrch, Jezerka and Ovčín in a position protected from practically all sides. On the village square there is a chapel from 1910 with two columns and a triangular plaque with the Eye of God and a hexagonal ridge bell tower with a cross. On the road from Režný Újezd, we can see a restored Baroque monument with a cross.

The ruins of Ostrý Castle lie on the top of a volcanic cone (552.6 m) about 1 km southeast of Milešov in the Bohemian Central Mountains. The castle was built in the early 15th century by Václav Kaplíř of Sulevice. The first mention of the castle, called Schrafenstein in German, dates back to 1436. The castle provided security during the Hussite Wars.

Not only one cross greets the hiker here, but a group of three crosses - as the name "Three Cross Mountain" suggests - we find on this mountain. A wayside cross or summit cross commemorates the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, namely the middle one. The other two are not here without reason: According to biblical tradition, Jesus Christ was not condemned to death by the cross and executed alone, but together with two criminals (see, for example, the evangelist Luke 22:33): + "They came to the place called the Place of the Skull; there they crucified him and the criminals, one on his right and the other on his left." +
