Tips from the Community

Matthew
December 5, 2023, Pokamoonshine Mountain Fire Tower and View

Pokamoonshine Mountain is a 2,180-foot peak in the Taylor Pond Wild Forest in New York. There is a retired fire tower at the top that offers unobstructed views of the area. There are a couple trails climbing from the campground to the top, but the total mileage of the hike isn't too much, and the views at the top make the trek worthwhile.
