December 28, 2023, Blue Wall Falls

The Blue Wall itself, the scenic escarpment overlooking the falls, was named by the Cherokee people, who saw it as a natural wall dividing the sky and the earth.

August 7, 2023, Melrose Falls

Melrose Falls is a 60-foot waterfall just outside Tryon, North Carolina. It is a nearly vertical rock wall with a stream of sorts tumbling down the rock face. This viewpoint is from a giant rock face down a steep embankment. Be careful following the social trails here at the falls overlook because the footing can be really slick, and a fall could be costly.
