Original function: This is not a traditional built lookout tower. It was originally a mining shaft hoisting mechanism (called a shaft tower), later converted into a lookout tower that is 30m high. It can be viewed for free. Vince Ranzinger was a significant figure in the area who initiated coal mining in the region. From the top, there is a wonderful view: including of the Vértes and Gerecse mountains.

Temporary, occupied spring, unfortunately with little water flow. Its surroundings once saw better times. Today it is run-down, it would deserve much more care. I see that it is also trying to emerge from the ground as a "collecting spring", because a minimal amount of water - in the form of a stream - is still visible.

A truly great place where everyone finds their thing: hikers too! I can't think of a better place in the area, or they are closed. But this place is eternal!

Our most powerful national symbol, the monumental Turul Monument - in Tatabánya, from where the view is also perfect.
