One of the pearls of the interwar Zarasai wooden architecture, one of the more striking examples of the interwar resort architecture. The building was not rented out to accommodate tourists, but at one time it was rented out to a school, later a military commissariat operated in this building. It is likely that the building was designed and built for himself and his brother by the architect Feliksas Bielinskis, who also designed the teachers' villa in Zarasai.
