Stikkanäva Hand-Pulled Ferry

Highlight • Bridge

It's a small ferry for hikers, it can hold four adults, but you can also carry a bicycle. You pull yourself across to the other side with a rope. In winter, when the ice is thick, you can also cross on foot. We were there in spring, the ice had already started to melt, but the ferry was still frozen, so we couldn't use it. We were able to get to the other side with a detour of a few kilometers.
