The castle in Gołuchów is one of the most beautiful residences in Wielkopolska, combining the Renaissance style with the romantic atmosphere of the 19th-century reconstruction. Built in the 16th century for the Leszczyński family, the castle was restored by Izabella Działyńska, née Czartoryska, who created an art museum with unique collections here. Surrounded by an impressive park-arboretum with rare trees and the founder's mausoleum, it is now a branch of the National Museum in Poznań. Cyclists can count not only on beautiful views, but also on peaceful park alleys and good tourist infrastructure in the area. This is a must-see for anyone exploring Wielkopolska from the saddle.

Castle in Gołuchów - originally an early Renaissance brick defensive building, several-story, rectangular in plan, with towers in each corner, which was built in 1550–1560 for Rafał Leszczyński (starosta of Radziejów and voivode of Brzesko Kujawy) in Gołuchów, thoroughly rebuilt in II mid-19th century by Izabella Działyńska née Czartoryska. Since 1951, the castle has housed a branch of the National Museum in Poznań with an exhibition of historic interiors and works of art. The gallery has in its collection works by artists such as: Frans Floris (The Last Supper) and part of the collection of ancient Greek vases obtained by Jan Działyński from excavations in Nola, Capua and Naples (the so-called Gołuchów vases).
