The church in Bolmin was founded at the beginning of the 17th century by a local heir, Jan Brzeski. The church was extended and renovated several times. In the main altar of the church there is a painting of Our Lady of Consolation, Bolminska, which is venerated by the faithful. This painting was probably in the house of the founder of the church, and only later moved to the church. The painting was put under conservation in the 20th century, where during the conservation works carried out in the 20th century, it was found that the second layer of the painting was noticed: the image of the Mother of God, which was painted in the 14th or 15th century. with the Holy Family.
