A small tourist shelter with a table and benches is located at the entrance to Narew National Park, from the direction of Łapy-Szołajdy. Next to the shelter is a makeshift beach volleyball court and a relatively well-maintained picnic area, and by the road, there's a grassy parking lot for a few cars. A dirt road leads from the shelter to the observation tower and then to the very bank of the Narew River.

In the towns it crosses the pavement, but it is quite level. Outside the towns - wide asphalt.

The fortified settlement in Suraż is a remnant of one of the oldest settlements in Podlasie, picturesquely situated on the Narew River. Built in the 9th century, it served as an important defensive and administrative center, and today you can see clearly outlined earthen ramparts and moats. The place is interesting for cyclists looking for peaceful routes with views of the Narew Valley, and a short walk around the settlement allows you to feel the atmosphere of old times.

Lapy is historically interesting. There are several places worth visiting. Beginning of 2024, the entire railway station and the area nearby are undergoing major renovation. It's a bit of a construction site, but maybe it will be even more interesting at the end of the year.

Interestingly, it never had wings. During the final stages of construction, the owner decided to use an electric motor instead. Due to intense competition, it reportedly operated for only six months. The facility is located on private, fenced property.

The first wooden church in Uhów was built and consecrated in 1753 by the suffragan bishop of Łuck and at the same time the parish priest of Surasia, Ludwik Riaucour. In that year, metric books began to be kept and Uhowo became a branch of Suraż. Since the tsarist authorities did not allow the creation of a parish, Uhowo was a branch until Poland regained its independence. In 1904, parishioners began applying for permission to build a new church. The project of a single-tower temple in the neo-Gothic style was prepared by architect Romuald Lenczewski. After several refusals to issue a building permit, e.g. for the participation of the inhabitants of Uhów in the January Uprising, a positive decision came only in 1914. In the same year, the parish priest, Fr. Stanisław Klim started construction works. The investment was interrupted during the war. From 1917, the construction was led by a new parish priest, Fr. Adam Abramowicz. On August 15, 1919, the temple was consecrated, and on August 8, 1921, it was consecrated by Bishop Jerzy Matulewicz. From war damage, especially from 1944, the church was rebuilt by Fr. Edward Kisiel, who was the vicar of the old and ailing parish priest, Fr. Antoni Sałatyński. During the time of Fr. prob. Tadeusz Baluk, a general renovation of the church was carried out and a new rectory was built. Text information comes from the website of the Archdiocese of Bialystok.
