Wheel-shaped boulder. Previously, the path at Musteikio st. was almost half bricked up. 58 in the southwest corner of the school building, where it stood on the side of the sidewalk. Now the stone is in the yard of the Tauragnai branch of the Utena Cultural Center.

In commemoration of Tauragnai's 765th birthday, 2020 on June 27, the sculpture of the symbol of the town - the taurus - was unveiled. The sculpture is placed on a monumental stone marking the first mention of the name Tauragnai in written sources - 1255. The stylized sculpture of the taurus was created by the Ukmerg sculptor Vaidas Ramoška.

in 1874 a new church with 5 altars was built on the burnt place. Large wooden one with gilded carvings, wooden columns. There was the Mother of God, St. Peter and Paul, St. George's paintings. Altar niche is brick. Played in 1874 a production organ, a pulpit decorated with beautiful carvings stood out. Area 26X25 m². A baroque turret rises on the 14.5 m high roof, above it there is an openwork cross. The walls are sheathed with perpendicular boards. 1942-1943 the artist Bronius Ziedas renovated 5 altars, painted them with white paint, painted new paintings. in 1943 a new parsonage was built. The author of the project is Bronė Kovienė (Lukštaitė). The material was used from the old inn. The rectory was 15.5 m long and 9.5 m wide. There are 8 rooms inside. A 12.7 m high wooden belfry with an openwork cross stood next to the church. There were 3 bells in the belfry. During the First World War, they were taken to Russia. in 1929 Fr. Bambliauskas ordered two new bells, which were cast in Kaunas, at J. Masalcev's foundry. One of them is St. George, the bell weighed 160, the other - St. Casimir's bell - 112 kg. These bells have been preserved. The territory of the church was surrounded by a brick wall with four gates. However, on July 9, 1944, German warplanes set fire to the church and other buildings in the town. Not only the church was destroyed, but also the bell tower, crosses, and the parish archive, which contained archival documents.
