the point at which the Kennet and Avon canal crossed the river and railway line via the Aqueduct built by John Rennie & John Thomas between 1797 and 1801. Good pub here which will reopen summer 2025. This is on the main railway line now becoming a regular (request?) stop since 2011

Iford Manor itself was closed when I walked here, but it was such a lovely walk, I will be heading back to go into the grounds & onwards to visit Farleigh Castle when I have time. There is some really beautiful countryside all around the area, it's worth exploring

This is (I believe) the oldest Tithe barn in either the South West, or the county?! I cant remember 🤦♀️ so not much help!! BUT, it's definitely worth poking your head in, it is a lovely space and you can sort of feel the past, and I love that.
