perhaps for some it might have been better to continue walking along the beach, although that depends on tides. this section of the Coastal path seems to be not official open due to landslips etc which might explain why it hasn't been maintained and now overgrownvegetation which means you need to crawl at places or push on through and occasionally jump into the fields to bypass the path. if you don't mind an adventure it's fine!! π
