It is an English monument. You can read why in the following link: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1415588?section=official-list-entry If you set off 30 minutes before low tide, you should be able to make it. There are ladders outside. Unfortunately, I wasn't wearing my swimming trunks and had to stop because of the high tide.

Recently reopened by new owners after a huge revamp (mid 2021) A local hotspot with plenty of outside seating. If visiting in a group over 6 its worth calling ahead to give them warning, worth letting them know when ordering if you intend to pay separately as it helps them out and speeds the process up, rather than telling them at the end. Three different menus depending on the time you visit. A firm favourite of mine is the eggs benedict. The espresso I had today was nice and was not over or under extracted. Toilets inside as well as public toilets the other side of the car park. Walking distance to Romney Cycles if mechanical support is needed. Cash and card accepted. Check the Facebook for more info inc opening hours etc. https://www.facebook.com/CoachHouseRomney/
