In the village square of Kolberg stands this magnificent, approximately 400-year-old pedunculate oak. Above the mighty, cylindrical trunk with its strong root flares, the sturdy branches form a vast, airy, and low-reaching crown from a height of about 5.0 meters, almost completely shading the village square. Several cables stabilize the crown branches. The circumference is approximately 6.1 meters (measured on June 30, 2021), with a height of approximately 23.0 meters. The Linggraben is a drainage ditch and a left tributary of the Dahme River in the municipality of Heidesee in the Dahme-Spreewald district. The ditch drains a lowland area located south of the village of Blossin and west of the village of Kolberg. It borders Lake Wolzig to the northeast and drains westward into Lake Langer. There is also a connection to Lake Wolzig at this point.
