El Faro de La Savina is the first image visitors receive when arriving by ferry at the port of Formentera. Although often referred to as a lighthouse, it is technically a leading beacon that serves as a guide for both boats entering the port and for the night air traffic of the nearby heliport. It is located at the northern tip of the island, next to Estany des Peix and the port of La Savina. It was originally inaugurated in 1926, although some sources point to a more modern structure from 1978. Entrance marker to the port and signaling system for aircraft. It is a key landmark for enjoying the sunset and offers a privileged viewpoint towards the port.

Old warehouse of the port of La Savina "Despite its appearance of old stone walls that could recall a small hermitage, it was not a church. That ruined building was part of the old industrial and logistical infrastructures of the port of La Savina, mainly linked to two historical activities in the area: - The salt industry: A large part of the stone constructions in that strip between the port and the Estany Pudent/Estany des Peix served as warehouses, maintenance centers, or housing for the workers of the Salinas de Formentera. - Port and defense logistics: As the only entry point to the island, the port housed various support structures, from cargo warehouses to small administrative or surveillance facilities.
