This isn't a pond, but a watering place. Horses used to be washed here after work. The entrance was on one side, the exit on the other. Now it's completely enclosed and serves as a habitat for fish and ducks.

The location and photos belong to Seebarn Castle on the Wagram River. Seebarn Castle is located in the municipality of Grafenwörth in the Tulln district. The original structure dates back to the Middle Ages; the current building is a Renaissance structure from the mid-16th century and still retains a medieval core and a defensive tower. Over the centuries, the castle changed hands several times, belonging, among others, to the Schenken von Seebarn family, later to the Zeller and Auersperg families, and finally to the Princes Metternich-Sandor. Today, the castle is privately owned, so visits are generally only possible from the outside. The building is a listed historical monument and is considered a historically valuable site in the Wagram region.
