One of the viewing terraces in the reserve. Very well maintained - looks brand new. There is also a great information board about the local springs feeding the Krzemionka stream: according to the information, such springs are rare in Poland, so they are protected here. Most of these springs are oval in shape and animals use them to drink water.

This is truly extraordinary. I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before. There's a huge lying trunk of a Scots pine tree by the road, which was 350 years old when it was blown over by a strong wind in 1979. In 1981 it was brought and laid here - especially for you! Look at the characteristically interwoven fibers. What can you not find!

A strikingly straight (as shot) path through the Jałówka Reserve. Quiet and peaceful: perhaps the most impressive thing is the colossal trees, incredibly tall, on both sides here. There is a very nice board here with basic information about the reserve - very nicely designed. A great walk.

Some people think that a swamp is a horror and can't be beautiful, but this one is really beautiful and right by the road: trees immersed in water and the sun shining through the leaves - something fantastic. It's really worth stopping here for a few moments.

A nice little bridge on the border of the river and the reservoir. After coming over the bridge there is a path straight and to the right to the historic factory near the dam.
