Our path then continued to the Murrleinsnest. A beautiful path leads there, slightly uphill through the beech forest, which the woodpeckers particularly like, so we often heard hammering and knocking in the forest. After a short time we reached the Murrleinsnest, a 460-meter-high double peak above Waldesruh, on whose western summit a shelter hut and a (hopeless) bench invite you to linger.
