Old Satow church from the 13th century, over the centuries more and more bricks crumbled and the church was sold for 425 thalers for demolition. Friedrich Franz II, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg, prevented further demolition. Today it is idyllically located in a small park by the lake.

The Kleine Beke nature reserve is natural. Right now in March nature is awakening with many snowdrops. We were able to observe deer and identify many songbirds.

the cemetery around the old church or around its ruin turned into a park-like area. The ruin has been renovated and structurally secured in recent years in order to keep it from decaying further. The ruin is really worth seeing.
