Very beautiful clear lake. Unfortunately, it has decreased significantly over the years.

An absolute highlight in autumn!

Kommot once again spouted nonsense with a serious typo. It should read: "Signpost, information board, fruit trees"!

A hub with extras. Plenty of fruit trees all around, even a large cherry tree with a bench in front! Signposts make orientation easy, especially if you want to do the circular route around Peetzigsee (not recommended). The Märkischer Landweg is much more interesting, but it poses considerable challenges for casual cyclists.

Reaching the southern tip of Peetzigsee is quite a challenge! There's even access to the lake here, but the view isn't as breathtaking as you might have hoped. Swimming is hardly possible here, or at least not enjoyable, because the bottom is soft and muddy.

The path near the Burgsee lake is scenically beautiful, offering views of the expansive hills and a few access points to the lake, but it's not at all suitable for cycling. Even hikers have to make do with a bumpy, grassy path, which gets significantly worse later on. After the turnoff toward Peetzigsee (southern tip), it becomes quite narrow and uncomfortable in places (very tall nettles, raspberry/blackberry vines, and lots of branches that hang in your face!)

The rest hut marks a spot where you can easily access Peetzigsee, right at its southern tip. - Warning: Anyone who wants to continue from here, to circumnavigate the lake clockwise, must be prepared for a very narrow, terribly overgrown, and poorly maintained path, and for an unreasonably long stretch! - It's absolutely not suitable for cyclists, and not exactly ideal for hikers either! You can push your bike sometimes, but even that's very difficult here.
