The so-called Glockenkelter (Bell Wine Press) in Stetten, in its present form, dates back to 1786. It replaced one of the five much older wine press buildings in the village. Duke Karl Eugen is said to have ordered its construction. Inside, the press housed four wine presses and other pressing equipment. The name Glockenkelter is believed to derive from the "Rechtsglöcklein" (Little Right Bell), which signaled the end of the daily grape harvest. Due to its architecture and size, the Glockenkelter occupies a special position among the wine presses built during this period. The nearly square structure, built of rough-hewn blocks and rubble stone, is unplastered, with round-arched doorways and rectangular windows set in sandstone frames, and is topped by a high hipped roof with a short ridge. Since the 1930s, the building has no longer been used as a wine press, but rather as a meeting and storage room.
