The Crane Worlds opened just at the beginning of September. It's a successful, informative NABU information center located near the Kranorama. Here, visitors can learn all about the local grey cranes and other crane species from around the world. A bistro and beautifully landscaped outdoor area round out the experience.

In spring and fall, a visit to the Kranorama is definitely worthwhile. Visitors can expect a magnificent spectacle. Hundreds to thousands of cranes and geese gather in the meadows, calling, hooting, honking, and fluttering around, flying away and returning. There's also great information on the information boards and from the friendly rangers on hand.

In 2023, five people who already knew each other well founded a cooperative and acquired the manor house in Nisdorf at the beginning of 2024 to offer a meeting space. For us, this means a place of relaxation for vacationers, a café for cyclists and hikers, simple overnight accommodations for users of the Baltic Sea Cycle Route, seminars in the pre- and post-season, a space for family celebrations and group meetings, and in the future, discussion groups, lectures, and exchanges on current topics. For day visitors, cyclists, and hikers, we offer cold drinks, various coffees, teas, usually cakes, sausages, bars, ice cream, and various places to relax, eat, and drink both inside and outside. You can also simply refill your water bottles here. We look forward to seeing you.
