The Mehlhartl house was taken over by Lengauer Melchior in 1785 and was probably built around 1720, when the Innviertel was still in Bavaria. It has been empty for about 56 years and a classmate of mine was born and grew up in it. Unfortunately, the house is falling into disrepair and since it certainly survived Napoleon and the first and second world wars, it is an important witness.
