An absolute dream with a magnificent view and excellent cuisine—small but perfectly formed. We stayed there overnight in August 2024 and are returning again this year with the whole family. An absolute insider tip and a super friendly staff. From here, you can reach not only the Mohar, but also the Astental Valley. A varied, easy hike along streams, moors, and waterfalls.

St. Anthony's Chapel Just a two-minute walk from the Almgasthof Glocknerblick is the St. Anthony's Chapel, built by Johann Granig in 1965. This gem is considered a very special place of power by visitors from near and far. From here, you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, and with a bit of luck (weather permitting), you might even catch a glimpse of the summit of the Grossglockner.

The Marterle pilgrimage church is located at 1861 meters above sea level near Wenneberg in the municipality of Rangersdorf. It is beautifully situated and offers a fantastic panoramic view. In good weather you can even see the Lienz Dolomites. The pilgrimage church is not always open. Unfortunately we were not lucky. There is a bench in front of the church where you can enjoy the last rays of the sunset even in winter.
