The war memorial was built in 1932. The plans for this come from the Franz Anfhauser company. The soldier statue was made by the sculptor D.Filippi (from Vienna). The stone substructure is made of quarry stone and was built under the direction of the Breiteneicher bricklayer Rudolf Schörgmaier. The writing plate and the stone gun plaque, in turn, come from Horner master stonemason Josef Schlagenhaufer. The lattice fencing was made by master locksmith Josef Prumiller from Horn. The memorial is dedicated to those who died in the First and Second World Wars.
