The Nexinger mussel mountain is a rock with many enclosed mussels. There is a nice little climb up the mountain. Towards the end you have to go through a narrow crevice. Now you come to a beautiful meadow with a view of the fishing lakes. Several large trees offer shady spots where you can have a picnic. Small trails lead through the sparse bushes and offer a beautiful nature trail for children. In the near distance you can see the mining tower of the mussels. They break these down so the chickens eat them and use them to produce their eggshells. After visiting the Shell Mountain, I recommend a walk among the lakes.
