Beautiful parish church built on a hill. Great views of the Swiss mountains. 🥰

With its multi-pointed spire, stair towers and finely curved roofs, gables and wall pillars, the Koblach parish church is a striking sight just by its exterior. Like a castle, it stands on the slope of the Kummenberger and is a striking landmark of the village. When it was completed in 1907 - according to plans by the Swiss architect Albert Rimli - it replaced the previous baroque church. The interior design took longer to arrive, however. It was only after an external restoration in the 1960s that the church received the furnishings that can be seen today. At the same time, the ceiling panels, which had previously been kept plain white, were painted. Frescoes by the Innsbruck artist Wolfram Köberl on the themes of creation, redemption and glorification can be seen on the church ceiling. @copyright vorarlberg

A great vantage point that is easy to reach from Kumma Church Today there is still a narrow stiff left of the mountain as the rest of the rock was removed, but still a fantastic short path

Nellenbürgle natural monument: here lies a roughly 10 m large boulder in the forest below a rock face.

Hike early morning on the Kummenberg (Kumma), where the air is still pure and fresh! Most of the time you are not alone either, on the way or at the latest at the summit cross, the early risers meet! The view of the Rhine Valley to Lake Constance is worth the climb! On countless paths, depending on your choice, even on steeper passages you reach the destination. You can not run, you always get up somewhere, but also down on all sides - at the village church, near Koblach-Neuburg, Krinna to Götzis, to the shooting range in the birch, the archery club and the Koblach climbing garden over ... try Just make the way, it's really fun and will not be boring!
