If the Buschenschank is closed (Tuesday and Wednesday) or you can't get a seat, you can at least serve yourself FLUIDLY!

Already forgotten by many or only known as decoration, the tree press is the most original way to process grapes. The tree press is the basis for excellent wines thanks to the natural and gentle processing of the grapes. The grapes are cold pressed and are 100% fresh and hand-picked. The gentle and slow pressing, with consistently low pressure, guarantees the highest wine quality. That's how it used to be done here!

The family business is located on the Eichberg in Leutschach on the Weinstrasse in southern Styria. For over 30 years, our family has been managing and improving the business, which has now grown to 16 hectares of our own vineyards. Even before that, the family was involved in viticulture on the Graßnitzberg near Spielfeld. Our operating philosophy - consistency and continuity - has always been in favor of grapes, with a focus on vineyards and grape quality, in order to create a top starting point for the wines that we only give the fine finishing touches to in the cellar economy, so to speak.

At the cattle farm, follow the red and yellow arrows to the left of the road. This is how to bypass the pasture south.

A really excellent tavern with high quality wines. Especially the Pinot Gris has done to me.

At the vineyard Strablegg the guests are spoiled with the finest delicacies. Home-made wines and pumpkin seed oils, liqueurs and spirits, juices and jams, bread and pastries - there's something for everyone. Between meals you can relax in the idyllic courtyard or discover the vineyards on a tractor ride. Children romp in the playground, splash around in the swimming pond and pamper the animals in the petting zoo. In addition to rabbits cats and chickens even some riding horses live in the yard. At the vineyard Strablegg can be stayed in three holiday apartments or three guest rooms. More information at https://www.urlaubambauernhof.at/hoefe/strablegg
