A nice place to rest, even for a larger group. A sheltered roof is appreciated in bad weather!

A well-maintained park with stunning views. My tip: Saturday morning, there were no visitors in the park except for a few volunteers. If you stay quiet, you can get close and observe the animals.

The old crossing with the concrete pipes looks quite scary. Now there are two beautiful wooden bridges instead.

When the weather is nice, you can sit on the pontoons on the new riverside promenade in Frankenberg, put your feet in the river and relax. It's even better with a to-go cocktail, which you can get relatively cheaply in the neighboring restaurant "Geronimo". The Eder is so clean here that you can see the many fish with the naked eye. Ducks and Egyptian geese can also be found here en masse. If you walk further along the beautifully designed promenade with its many seats to the former St. Georgenberg monastery, you can now also see the renaturalized Nemphe stream, which was concreted over in the 1970s. Very nice!
