In summer, the ponds are almost invisible because of the reeds. This bridge/viewpoint offers a beautiful view.

Nature reserve De Zig is located in and along the Lossing. From the birdwatching hut you can get to know the bird population of De Zig both in winter and in summer. In November 1993, Limburgs Landschap vzw bought its first land here. At that time, poplar plantations characterized the landscape. The dream was daring: to restore a pond complex as scientist Van Beneden had described it in the first half of the 20th century. Source and more information: https://limburgs-landschap.be/de-zig/

The Voorste Luysmolen is an atmospheric watermill located on the Bosbeek, with a history dating back to the 16th century. The mill, surrounded by greenery and tranquility, is still running and shows you how grain used to be milled.
