Tower provides insight into the wilderness near Staffelde The observation tower in Mescherin provides national park visitors with an overview of the Staffelde Polder from a height of eleven meters The newest observation tower in the Lower Oder Valley National Park is located directly on the Oder, north of the Mescherin border bridge. With its slender shape and curved roof, which was modeled on the wings of cranes, it is an architectural attraction on the northern edge of the large protected area.
