August 2024: There's a large hornets' nest in the hut. Therefore, it's unusable. The fire pit next door is. Otherwise, use the hut about 1.2 km after/before. It's more spacious/nice anyway.

You have completed about half of the circular route from the car park when you arrive at this viewpoint

The last thing you would expect to see in this place is a traffic light. And yet it is there and there is a story behind it: https://www.vastsverige.com/dalsland/trafikljus/

The real highlight of the hike was this beautiful forest lake. You reach it by following the path in front of the barrier with the large stone. A place of peace and relaxation.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed and horrified at what a stinking, brown, poisonous mess the "Green Lake" is (judging by the garbage lying down there). But that's not the fault of the other tip-givers, the water level was probably somewhere between 5-10m lower than in the other pictures.

Be sure to visit Not Quite in Fengersfors and there is a great bicycle shop in Bengtsfors Moxakällan.

Along the route to the Grüner See you have several entrances to an old stone mine. A bit scary but really worth it. you will need a pair of boots and a strong flashlight. I myself was only about 100 meters in and then it became a bit scary for me.
