Starting the route back to the car park if parked at Lowthwaite Farm. It's about 3-4 Mile back, taking this valley route.

In the centre of the peaceful village of Caldbeck in the Lake District is this lovely little green which features a pond and some sitting areas. There is a nearby traditional pub called The Old Crown which is a great place to stop and refuel.

Tough fell climb if it's wet but rewarded with great views, properly in the middle of nowhere

This was the first Wainwright of the day and another four were to follow. Longlands is the place however to have a glance at what lays ahead. Beautiful spot!

Lovely little hill that is surprisingly higher than its Wainwright neighbour Longlands Fell but is not a Wainwright in itself despite its lofty charm and great views.
