Molsdyssen er en af de få, velbevarede dysser, der stadig findes i landbrugslandskabet omkring Vester Broby. I 1892 the coldest dysse for "Mølsøvdyssen". The gamle navn hentyder ganske givet til en møllesø, som i sin tid fandtes for ends af slugten sydvest for dyssen. Bækken i slugten over the Mod Susåen and Broby Vesterskov. I gamle dage løb bækken tæt forbi Molsdyssen, men er he den nu rørlagt. /////// The Molsdysse is one of the few well-preserved dolmens that can be found in the open agricultural landscape near Vester Broby. The dolmen has a size of 1.2 x 12 x 10 meters. 21 curbs are preserved. In the middle there is a burial chamber in east-west direction with 2 side stones and a large cap stone. In 1892 the dolmen was called "Mølsøvdyssen". The old name probably refers to a mill lake, which at the time was at the end of the gorge southwest of the dolmen. The brook in the gorge flows through the Broby Vesterskov forest and flows into the Suså. Nowadays the stream runs through pipes and is not immediately visible.

In the Neolithic period about 5,600 years ago, the first farmers of the so-called funnel beaker culture (3,900 - 1,700 BC) erected these long-dumbbells as a community tomb. Originally the plant was completely covered by the hill. The 34 curbs that covered the burial mound and its three burial chambers are now visible around the grave foot. Most of the curbs are untapped or knocked off and some are quite twisted and used for other purposes. The now open rectangular burial chamber at the north-eastern end with the three Tragsteien and a large capstone are the best preserved stones. In the middle of the mound you can see two stones that may indicate a still untouched burial chamber.
