A great sweeping arc of white sandy beach to the south of Dunnet Head. Good surf break if you are staying here and want something other than running to occupy the time. The visitor centre has information about the local area and wildlife and public toilets.

Dunnet beach is a large sweeping arc of white sand opening out onto Dunnet Bay. Along with car parking, there is a visitor centre with information about the local area and wildlife and facilities include public toilets.

Dunnet Bay is fairly sheltered from the elements, with this section on the South facing coast of Dunnet Head particularly so. Excellent wildlife spotting opportunities.
