Beautiful hiking trail through banana plantations.

The hike along the levada is currently (September 2025) not recommended. The path is not in good condition, and the view of the burnt landscape is not pleasant. If you do decide to walk, be sure to wear long trousers! The path is frequently irritated by brambles and gorse.

A great beach with a sheltered bay, it has jetties and umbrellas, as well as changing rooms, restrooms, and showers. The restaurant right on the beach is also highly recommended.

An old path along the cliffs with a great view. Caution, as always, where rocks can fall from above.
