The founder of this attraction got a bit carried away🤣 I have already proposed a name change - it will probably take a while. The correct name and location are: Church of St. Matthias the Apostle in Andrychów It is the most important sacral monument in the city, located in the very center. Beginnings (14th c.): The first mentions of the parish date back to 1325–1346. In the tithe records from 1344, payments for the "construction of the church" were mentioned. Original buildings: In the 16th century, there was a wooden church here, which was then a branch of the parish in Wieprz. Current temple (17th–18th c.): In 1646, on the initiative of Elżbieta of Przytycka Zebrzydowska, the construction of a brick church began. In 1721, the church was consecrated after a thorough Baroque renovation. Between 1722 and 1726, the Brotherhood of the Rosary of the Sweetest Name of Jesus was founded at the church. Expansion (19th–20th c.): The temple was enlarged with chapels (1725) and modernized in 1838 and 1924–1929.

The oldest mention of the church in Wadowice comes from 1325. Wadowice was then a branch of the parish in Mucharz. By the decision of the bishop of 1335, the church of Wadowice was incorporated into the parish of Woźniki. The first church was a small wooden temple. In 1440 it burned down during the great fire of the city. A brick church was erected on its ruins in the mid-15th century. The current two-span chancel, closed with a straight wall and covered with a rib vault, comes from this period. https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bazylika_Ofiarowania_Naj%C5%9Bwi%C4%99tszej_Maryi_Panny_w_Wadowicach https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7Puw71roG8
