Some good Falls along this route

'Oconaluftee Islands Park' is an amazing outdoor location right in the heart of Cherokee. There is a trail leading along the water and through a bamboo forest. Besides that, the park in the middle of 'Oconaluftee River', includes bridges, picnic spots and many fun activities for adults and kids like swimming, tubing, fishing and feeding ducks.

June Whank Falls is a fun experience because the falls flow right under the bridge, giving you the best view of the falls. The bridge is as gorgeous as the falls themselves.
