Stiglmeier Park is right next to the Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve and Environmental Education Center. It features a bunch of dirt, grass, and gravel trails of its own, but it also has a few paved paths and a road running through the middle of the park that are both great for running as well. There are also some open grassy areas if you need somewhere for stretching or strides.

Flattail Lake is one of the highlights of the preserve. There are a number of ponds on the property, but a small spur trail brings you to this cool viewpoint that is probably the best view in the entire preserve. Even if you blow by the turn for this viewing spot, you'll get more views of the water as you run around the lake.

This trail leads you through trails with natural wonders like eastern cottonwood trees, catbirds and robins. Keep an eye out for beaver trails, that are made by beavers moving from one pond to another!
