The Garcon Point Water Management Area has a couple trails that are open to foot traffic. The trails mainly meander around a spotty pine forest with a couple views of the water. There is a lot of plant life and birds in the area, making it a popular spot for wildlife viewing.

The Brackenridge Nature Trail is a short loop trail in the Gulf Islands National Seashore. The trail starts at a large wooden overlook with some trail information, and the trail, itself, winds in and out of the riparian habitat with boardwalks and informational signs along the way.

The fishing trail at Gulf Islands National Seashore is just as popular for hiking as it is fishing. The trail goes in and out and the trees as it follows along the shores of Santa Rosa Sound.
