Fern Lake is a modest reservoir bordered by grassy shores, encircled by trees and wild vegetation. It’s an excellent spot for observing local wildlife. Located just beyond the boundary of Jack London State Historic Park, the lake also connects to one of the park’s trails.

London Lake is a small reservoir just off the side of the main path. A few trails come together in this area with a brick wall serving as a dam here on the eastern side. Don't expect to see a huge reservoir as you approach the water; the pond looks more like a big puddle during the drier months.
