The Codorniu cellars in San Sadurní de Noya are an important building of Catalan modernism that has been classified as a National Historic-Artistic Monument. They were built by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch between 1902 and 1915, with various subsequent interventions by Lluís Bonet i Garí (1930-1980). Tourist visits to these cellars, both by educational centres and the general public, have a long tradition.

River and reservoir completely polluted. The castle closed for holidays. The village is more a collection of semi-detached houses than something rustic, although it has some old houses. It could be a spectacular place but it is mediocre.

The Palau Baltà is a Gothic-style manor house dating from the 14th century. It was built by Francesc Babau after 1308 on the site of the Vilafranca castle. It was renovated and expanded in 1522. It is also known as "Palau del Fraret" or "Can Babau". It has three exterior facades: the one that faces the Plaza de Sant Jaume and the one on the streets of Torre and Escudellers. It consists of a ground floor, main floor and attic covered with Arabic tiles. On the main façade, which faces the Plaza de Sant Jaume, there are two elevated side towers and a portal with an off-centre semicircular arch, as well as a central gallery with colonnaded windows. Inside there is a patio with stairs, a Gothic window and a high gallery with pointed arches. Currently the ground floor houses several exhibition rooms and an auditorium (Fòrum Baltà).
