With children under school age, I would not take the path at the end of the gorge upwards to Alpe Topfen. Even at 1.62 m, the steps on the ascent are very high. Furthermore, you should be sure-footed and somewhat trained. Even on the way down, 2 decent ascents and ascents with a lot of loose gravel "lure" you.

Two lakes that flow almost seamlessly into one another: Mittersee and Obersee are idyllically situated in the Faulenbach Valley and appear like a natural retreat near Füssen. Both lakes have natural outdoor pools with sunbathing lawns, diving opportunities, and access to the clear water – perfect for a refreshing break on warm days. Surrounded by forests and meadows, you will find quiet lakeside paths here.

The first major waterfall of the Scheidegg Waterfalls, which can be accessed relatively close via a small viewing platform. A path with many steps leads to another platform at the lower end of the waterfall. A truly impressive natural spectacle.

The lake is located at the foot of Neuschwanstein Castle. Super beautiful color and always great photo opportunities of the castle.
