A very nicely located restaurant with a view of the lake (from the escarpment). Prices, unfortunately, are mind-blowing :(

While the nature trail running along the river is relatively easy, the section of the Słupia river here has a typically mountainous character and requires considerable skill from kayakers. The current is strong and the bottom is strewn with numerous stones. This is the only section of its kind in Pomerania.

This is one of the most interesting stories associated with this place. The name "Dworcowe" (Station Lake) comes from the fact that the lake lies almost directly next to the former tracks of the historic Lębork – Bytów railway line. Trains used to pass right by its shores, and passengers getting off at the nearby, now abandoned Pomysk Mały railway stop (within the boundaries of Pomysk Wielki) had a view of the water's surface almost immediately after stepping off the train cars.

1. The main attraction of the trail are the extremely clean, oligotrophic lakes (including Stary Staw, Jeleń, and Głęboczko). They owe their name to a rare plant – the water lobelia, which grows only in crystal-clear and soft waters.
