A view worth stopping for a moment.

Not much to see on the outside, there is some information outside the castle and also near the rest area across the road.

The Rynek is not the most restful place, as it is effectively a roundabout for cars. Still there are some benches, icream parlour, Żabka and Lewiatan here if you need supplies. If you need a quieter place, head towards the castle, there you can find a quiet rest area overlooking the river.

Międzychód Municipal Lake is a popular reservoir with a maximum depth of 6.4 meters, located almost in the city center. A promenade runs around the reservoir, and Oskar Tietz Park stretches along the western shore. The eastern shore is a recreational area with a swimming area and a holiday center, ideal for summer breaks. Cyclists can easily combine a visit to the lake with a tour of the nearby Natura 2000 and Noteć Forest areas.

The Opaliński Castle Museum in Sieraków is housed in the rebuilt southern wing of a former fortress from the late 14th century, once owned by the Nałęcz family, and later the Opaliński family. The current building was rebuilt in the 1990s to house, among other things, the Opaliński family sarcophagi discovered in 1991. Exhibitions present the history of the Sieraków region – from archaeological finds to the present day. The building is located in the city center, near the Warta River, making it a good stopover on a cycling route. It's worth visiting the interior to see the historic coffins and learn about the region's history.

These trails often wind through scenic forests and along lakes, providing a pleasant and accessible cycling experience. While specific 'family-friendly' designations aren't always present, routes with lower difficulty ratings are generally suitable.

Many of the gravel bike trails in Międzychód are designed as loops, allowing you to start and end at the same point. Examples include the popular Warta River – Warta River at Sieraków loop from Kłosowice and the Jezioro Miejskie – Warta River loop from Międzychód, which offer scenic circular journeys.
The routes often pass through the picturesque Noteć Forest and around numerous lakes, including the Międzychód Municipal Lake. You can also discover viewpoints like Łężeczki viewpoint, or visit cultural sites such as the Opaliński Castle Museum in nearby Sieraków, and the Jezioro Miejskie itself.
