The Pont de l'Exposició in Valencia was designed by the renowned architect Santiago Calatrava and, due to its curved shape, almost resembles a huge sculpture. As a modern pedestrian bridge, it crosses the former riverbed of the Turia and connects the city center with the Alameda. Because of its striking design, locals also affectionately call the eye-catching structure "La Peineta", meaning hair comb.

Well... not much to add.... it's a crossroads.... it connects the two banks of the Júcar-Turia water transfer system

Damaged sections... sections overgrown with vegetation... sections blocked by construction... but overall, in good condition. On the other hand, it's one of those unnecessary bike lanes, because it runs parallel to a paved but very lightly trafficked orchard path.
