for those who like to cuddle on the bike - everyone rides up there, I would like to go down quickly and those riding up need the whole road... Tue. 24.3.26. approx. 11.00 am. (then the Puig Major at 09.30 was more pleasant to ride)

From our point of view, a very high recreational value… Claims are naturally different everywhere… But we like it very much, because we ride here repeatedly for a long time and it is always great 😉 For this reason, we also recommend you to enjoy it

While many routes start from coastal towns like Platja de Muro or Can Picafort, which are generally well-connected by local bus services, direct access to all trailheads via public transport can be limited, especially for more remote inland starting points. It's advisable to check local bus schedules (TIB - Transport de les Illes Balears) for connections to your chosen starting point. Some riders opt to cycle from their accommodation to the trailhead if it's within a reasonable distance.
Parking is generally available in the main towns and villages that serve as common starting points for routes, such as Santa Margalida itself, Can Picafort, and Platja de Muro. Look for public parking areas, often near beaches or town centers. During peak season, these spots can fill up quickly, so arriving early is recommended. Always ensure you park legally and respectfully.
