The small, artificially created lake is located in a natural and wonderful cork oak forest. It is a popular hiking and cycling destination. The lake is also on the Eurovelo 8. For us, it was perfect for a short siesta.

An easy and relaxing hike, because it's a place with reservoirs...insects are abundant, so I recommend long clothing or mosquito repellent.

I filled up my water here for several days in the spring without any problems. It's definitely drinkable for me. I just don't know what it's like in midsummer with little rainfall.
