Traunhaft beautiful. Bicycle tour from Stade via Apensen to Stade through the lower Estetal. So much beautiful nature and the cycle paths are also manageable, from time to time it gets a bit uneven but it is doable. A short section runs directly along the road. Great resting places are available along the route. E.g. at the fishing water of Horneburg in the lower Estetal. There the place is dedicated to the North German poet: Johann D. Bellmann *08.05.1930 - 25.06.2006

Fantastically beautiful cycling route amidst beautiful nature and great farm tracks. Today we rode from Stade via Apensen back to Stade and are really thrilled 😊. Now and then the route becomes a little uneven, but it's absolutely doable and addictive... . A section runs along the road, so you should be careful there. The road tempts car drivers to speed. Otherwise: Absolutely spectacular and recommendable.

The Neukloster Forest is a beech forest with trees up to approximately 200 years old. Originally used by the monastery for which it is named, it is home to several, sometimes rare, animal and plant species. A short hike of about 4.5 km through the Neukloster Forest is wonderful. From the Pfingstmarktplatz parking lot, the W4 hiking trail leads into the forest, passing historical and archaeological treasures such as burial mounds and wayside crosses. Follow the signs to the Friedwald parking lot and turn left there to return to the Pfingstmarktplatz parking lot. Enjoy a beautiful hike here! 🚶🏼♀️🚶💚

The former Flethmühle mill dates back to the 19th century. It was renovated in 1979. Today, it houses a hotel, a restaurant, and the offices of the Buxtehuder Tageblatt newspaper. The hotel and restaurant offer a magnificent view of the Fleth canal and Buxtehude's old town. Several cafes, restaurants, and boutiques are also located nearby. A visit is highly recommended.
