After the completion of the new terrace and the new cycle path, it was packed today at the reopening. All seats were occupied. The last parked car was 500 meters away from the cafe. As always, the food was top-notch. You should definitely take a break here.

The "cathedral" on the Erft River... lovely, if only it had been open... and I could have peeked inside. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Mari%C3%A4_Himmelfahrt_(Grevenbroich/Gustorf) ...apparently a lot going on in the entire parish, but not always and everywhere (staff shortage?) https://www.kath-gv-roki.de/aktuelles-termine/veranstaltungen-termine-00001/
